What style of dress best complements an Hour Glass shape?

Every girl has dreamt about their wedding day since they were a little girl. And the number one thing on their minds about the big day (besides the groom!) is THE DRESS!

When picking out your dream dress don’t just go for a style that you want, go for the style that will make you look and feel your best! Choosing a dress that compliments your body type will do these things.

For ladies with an hour-glass shape, follow these tips to find the perfect dress !

Look for dresses that have something to define your waist because this is the smallest part of your body. Try on dresses with sashes around the waist or with a split front. This will draw the eye to the center and make your waist look smaller (smaller than it actually is!)

Ball Gowns and A-Line dresses will be the best choice. Trumpet or Mermaid dresses may accentuate your shape and hips more than you want to but, it all depends on how comfortable you are in the particular style.

Which season would you choose for your Wedding!?

Personally, I would choose Winter. Just because of the colours that work with the backdrop outside during this season and because of my frizzy hair! No humidity in the winter makes Shannon’s hair stay the way she wants it and this makes her and her hair happy !

Groom Fashion 2011. Blast from the Past!

Bridal Fashion is important but don’t forget about the Groom! When everyone is looking at you, you are going to be looking at him!

This year, vintage is in and men want to look their best. In the media right now, you see celebrities dressing much nicer, even when they aren’t on the red carpet. Because of popular shows like “Mad Men”, the vintage mobster look is what they strive for.

How to accomplish this look is done by;

– Sleek hair back with a side part. Some may say it’s dorky, but personally I think it’s sexy!

– Wearing a simple black suit, or even a dark blue suit. This is very formal and will add class to the evening.

– Adding a white shirt with a skinny black tie, or a solid colour from your colour scheme.

– Choosing to wear a bow tie. They are vintage and can be classy if chosen in a neutral colour.
