I CANNOT WAIT for April 29th! The whole day will be broadcasted for the whole world to see! It all starts at 4 am and I am planning on being glued to my TV the whole day!
If you do not know what I am talking about, then get out of your house under a rock! I am talking about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Wedding!!!! This is going to be the biggest Royal Wedding since Charles and Diana!
William and Kate have decided to have their Wedding held at Westminster Abbey which is the traditional place for Royal Wedding ceremonies. The last royal Wedding that was held there, was Queen Elizabeth and Phillips, which is one of the longest lasting Royal Marriages. A much better blueprint to follow then Charles and Diana’s, who’s was held at St. Paul’s Cathedral because of the enormous amount of guests.
What everyone is icing to know is what Kate’s dress will look like! She is a very fashion forward bride so you can bet there will be some hint of modern flare but not too much because after all, she is joining the royal family!
PS. I WANT THAT RING!
I was asked to do a post about wedding favours and i was totally stumped as to what I was going to say! I didn’t have many ideas, until I research and found a TON of great ideas! Now I am an expert!
Many couples will put some sort of mint into a nice little bag, BORING! To add some excitement to this kind of wedding favour, get a personalized container! There are a lot of websites where you can create your own labels to put on containers. Just pick the colour, an icon and write your names and a Thank You! After your guests eat what ever goodies you put in their, they can re-use the container!
If you and your significant other are the type who rather give to others then receive and don’t want to waste money on a favour that your guests will probably just throw out, why not make a donation in their name to your favourite charity! Most charitable organizations have some sort of program in place for Wedding favours. If not, just print our a little card saying “Thank You” and which organization you have given a donation to. This way you know the money is going to good use and your guests with think you are such great people!
Is really like this idea! Give your guests a mix CD! Put on “Your Song” and other songs that have been your favourites for years! Think about songs that will be played at your wedding and ones that reflect your beautiful love story! Stick on a personalized label or stick it in a personalized case.
As you can see from the picture of Princess Diana on my home page, I am a big fan of the Royal Family. I LOVE Princess Diana. I think she was a wonderful person and a wonderful role model. I think my love her began when I realised that my mother looks JUST LIKE HER! At least one person comes up to her a day saying how she looks like her! My Mother took me to a showing of all of Diana’s dresses and it was fantastic. My favourite was (obviously) her Wedding Dress. It took up a whole room! If you didn’t know already she had a 25 foot long train! I loved how it wasnt white but was ivory. Famous designers, David and Elizabeth Emmanuel designed and created the dress for that famous day when Lady Diana took 3 minutes to walk down the aisle at St. Paul’s Cathedral to become Diana, Princess of Wales.
The Wedding was a complete Fairy tale and the dress worked PERFECTLY! I cannot wait for her son Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton on April 29th.
