Centerpieces, less is more?

I have always loved tall centerpieces. They add such height and visual interest to a table. The only problem with them, is that they take up so much space, money and the people at the table won’t be able to see the person across from them. If you are a budget conscious Bride, use the “Less is More” concept. Sometimes something so simple can be so elegant.

When my friend got married last summer, she had a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding (Poor Groom, being called a Beast on his own Wedding day)! Their centerpieces were bang on! It was just like out of the movie with the rose in the glass domed case. Each table had a single rose in a glass case for the centerpiece. Her venue was so extravagant that a simple centerpiece like that was perfect! Seeing this display of creativity was my favourite part of the day. Well, except for the joy on the newlyweds faces!

Take a Video, it will last longer !

With all these new HD camera’s, comes people who know how to use them! Videography is huge right now! Especially with websites like YouTube and Vimeo, people are making video’s of everything! Everyone takes photo’s on their wedding day but set yourself apart and join the club of modern weddings and hire a Videographer! Pictures can only capture a single moment, a fragment of the day. A video captures the whole day, whole emotions and adds the music of your choice to it!

This isn’t your typical home video of your parent’s wedding, this is like a full fledge short film of all the best moments of your special day! Most video’s will have the Bride, Bridesmaid’s, Groom and Groomsmen getting ready, documenting the first time the Bride and Groom see each other and the high moments of the party afterward the ceremony.
